My Kennedy half dollar sets are complete.

I am now working on finishing my Franklin half dollar set. Looking for a nice 61-D right now. For one reason or another, I'm having a hard time finding one I really like for the prices. The set isn't perfect by any means, but any new ones I have to buy, I would rather get as high grade as possible since they aren't very expensive after all. Especially the later ones.

Anyway, what do you guys think of this one? Cleaned or not? It does not appear to have enough wear to stand out to me as being cleaned. But is it TOO shiny? Seems really nice for such a cheap price and it isn't gone yet.

Cleaned - no. But it has a nasty scratch on the reverse that would probably keep it out of any slab. You can find better for the same money.

Yeah, maybe that's why people are holding off. Still pretty cheap.

No, it really isn't cheap. You can buy Frankies like that all day long for $10.

Then I've run across some REALLY bad deals in my travels. Thankfully, that I haven't purchased.
