Those pics. are great. That's the set-up I use.

 

So that's machine doubling too, right. You have the same pointer on your microscope also.

 

I don't have a picture of my microscope, of course I can always get one. It's a cheapy from this little store on the west coast of Ca. I didn't get it for this use but better this then bugs.
And yes it's machine doubling.

I also use this scope that plugs into the usb port on my computor. I'm still playing with the lighting on it.

 

What is the approximate price of such usb scopes?
