I have an opinion as to the grade on this, but since my eyes aren't what they used to be and I am but an amateur grader at best I would appreciate any input that would be provided.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

You're probably going to get guesses between VF-30 and EF-40. I'm leaning towards the high end of that range. A conservative grade would be 35, but I think it has enough to make EF-40.

This appears to be a very attractive example of the key date in a late-date Walker set.

VF35 . . . no traces of luster in the protected areas, and a little light on detail in the eagle's leg and wingfeathers.

I'll go with 35 but would be happy with 30. Nice coin.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. I saw the weakness but hoped I could get a 45. Do you think the 3rd party graders would give a 35 or 40?
