Although my main interest is collecting world gold I also have a nice assortment of world silver. Some I have shown on this site some not. Here is a sampling of some of my coins. Hope you enjoy !! Austrian Netherlands Dukaton 1753 Austria (Salzburg) 20 Kruezer 1777 Austria (Salzburg) Dukaten 1782 Austria (Salzburg) Taler 1759 (NGC MS-63) Netherlands (Utrecht) Ducatin "Silver Rider" 1790 (NGC AU50) France Ecu "Ecu au Bandeau"1748W
Beautiful coins!!!! I assume that the "Hieronymus" on those two coins is Colloredo, the mean prince-archbishop that made Mozart's life in Salzburg kind of crappy. ;(
You are correct monetaium:thumb: Here is another silver of Hieronymus - 1794 Austria (Salzburg) Taler and a few more silver pieces: 1768MO MF Mexico 8Reales (NGC-AU55) 1714/3 Austria (Olmutz)Taler (NGC-AU58)
silvereagle82, Thanks for posting that new one... Beautiful coins! I love Mozart (my #2 favorite composer after JS Bach), therefore I think those coins from Salzburg are the most interesting from the lot (although I'm not implying that the others are great specimens) . You have a fantastic collection!!!!
