nobody in particular islander; I guess I should say this place hasn't changed a bit.
Pickers will pick. you guys weren't even born back in the day of no internet. Pictures? AHH bologna. You bought sight unseen out of a magazine.

Absolutely I can. just describe it. You don't need to know my auto experience to describe your car. I guess it is hard for some people to grasp any idea or physical entity without pictures. cars also were and ARE bought sight unseen.
just so you know I am not bullsh*ing do a google of my latest ride. watch a video on you tube for any 2019 Dodge challenger R/T scat pack 1320. Be sure to use 1320 challenger. oh yeah the color is "Destroyer grey".
this is a beast by Dodge. only 1,054 made in 2019. Only 109 made in destroyer grey. DODGE says the 1320 is the quickest n/a [naturally aspirated] production street vehicle. Dodge claims 11.9 second quarter mile at 115 mph. I just had to have it. so I sold some gold I bought cheep. Would have dumped the quarters if I could.

Oh come on. I was born before the Internet. If you wanted to talk on the phone you did it from a land line as that's all there was. McDonalds wasn't even nation wide and don't even ask me about my mothers vacuum.

Yes a few of the members are cutthroats and backstabbers but you run into that everywhere you go. Most of us are trying to be helpful and we all go about it a bit differently.

You're in your 14th year of being a CT member. Some have left permanently and new ones have joined. If you actively participated more you would know who to listen to and who to ignore. We do have our fun and we have made new friends. I do hope you'll take what I'm saying seriously and if anything I said upset you please accept my apologies. I did not mean to do that. I only said what I did as a truthful way to express my thoughts and answer your question.

    Take care.

Actually 2006 was a second joining of this wonderful forum. I was on here before my computer crash and hence had to sign up a second time. I am 72 years old and have been around the block a few times [in a super fast car].

yeah I know about the ones who think they are great at arguing or they think it's debating [some think they are negotiating even].

Actually it's the motorhead that never gives up! yeah this is the epitome of a drag car for sure. I'm just thrilled to have one of 1,054 made. a couple dozen of those are up in Canada. again, everyone should be aware of the 1320 edition Dodge challenger.. Scat Pack my Lord. it is a bomb.
well worth trading in my gold. This is Gold on wheels.

I'm a master at debating, or something like that. I try not to offend but my ex wife would disagree.

so when I was in business I went to a seminar on negotiating. There is this good guy/bad guy technique developed by the Russians. Cops use it too.
One Russian yells & screams, insults you and lowballs your products. Then he leaves and the good guy comes in ready to do the deal.

My car back in the 50's was a 50 Ford body wrapped around an engine as described in the Little Deuce Coupe. Wish I was back there.
Hang in here there are a lot of member, me included, that are very sarcastic. I advertise it as my mood.

Of course there is a downside from relying too much on pictures too. Did you ever get a coin that looked good in pics, but then when it arrives you get a dog?
