I listed this particular coin on eBay and it was removed for being fake. Did I get scammed years ago? Been selling off my collection due to loss of interest and wanting to pay off home. Thank you for your input. 20200214_162816.jpg 20200214_162828.jpg 20200214_162844.jpg

It got removed because PCI is not a approved grader. You can list it, but not reference the numeric grade and should mask it out of the 1st image.

It happens that the gold box PCI represents the 2nd worst phase of a grading company with many incarnations and ups/downs.

Doesn't look fake to me. But, I am not an expert.

The coin is real, the slab is not.

I agree with our fellow enthusiast; coin is real. I can't estimate the grade from the photos posted, but it's a high grade coin. And that point may be moot as Burton points out. The buyer will need to be the judge of that coin. However, you may want to go into this with your eyes wide open. You may want to post some photos of your coin and have the members verify what you have there. This way you might feel more comfortable with the price point you have to have. I wish you luck!! But rainbow Lincolns always get my attention, so hopefully your buyer will too!!

All Lincolns with mint luster between 09 and 30 get my attention. ;)

It is a nice ribbon worth getting a grade

Part of that rainbow toning and what looks like wear of the wheat may have to do with what looks like a indirect image transfer (ghost) on the Reverse. IMHO

Burton is right on- just put a sticker over the numerical grade on the holder and don't state the numerical grade in the listing and you are good to go.

The coin would probably grade 64 or 65. Not worth the fees to get it in a respectable holder. I would take better images if trying to sell it.
