This is my newest coin, have at it gang. Guess the grade, etc. This coin is on the way to me next week from a forum member. Ben, you left a day to soon.....
Sweet coin! Very - very nice. I am going with AU58. Hard time telling if some of the areas are weak strike versus a little rub. Keep your lincolns - just send me this puppy.
I like it Jack, I'm going with AU. I'll bet it looks great in hand, congrats. By the way Jack, do you know where I can get fast cash for my raw or slabbed Lincolns??
XF45 Love the color ! Great coin. Always hard to tell from pictures whether missing detail is wear, weak strike, worn dies, or greasy dies. I'm assuming wear accounts for any missing detail, namely the bust, top edge of eagle's left wing, and "E PLURI". Nice.
Nice one AU-55?, but I have no idea what I am talking about. Just remember that everything your are spending is not available for Long Beach.
With the weak strike on the reverse on the E PLURIBUS UNUM I'll say AU 55. I can't really tell from these photos much if any wear. Really nice coin, Jack Bruce
I'd have to say, from what I can see, low MS. The weak lettering in the reverse motto seems common with the new reverse hubs for this date, and I doubt it's wear. If you decide you want to send me a late b-day present, I'll gladly accept it Guy~
This coin resides in a NGC slab. I will have new pics maybe end of next week. I have no idea of the Overton # or anything, I just wanted it for my type set, and this comes from a top of the line seller I place 100% confidence in, my first purchase from Mark Feld.
Very nice Bust Half there, I'm jealous. I know nothing about grading these, so I'll just take a shot at it...I'd say AU-50.
i think it is a beautiful coin as well! thank you for sharing! this series is out of my specialty to grade as i have simply not seen enough in hand and studied the series enough in consideration to the striking process at the time. i will take a stab and call it au 55 or better. i love it tho and thank you so much again...when i become more qualified with them..i will be able to comment more. congratulations and best wishes!!! steve
Kinda surprised that no one has mentioned a particular point about this coin. You guys need to look a little closer
