Can one of you veterans please help me,is this 1979 penny that weight 2.9 gram struck on wrong planchet ?
Exactly need a photo. Also a transition error would usually happen after the change not before. Some coins can be struck on rolled thin planchets. Calibrate your scale, and attach some photos.
Please post a photo of both sides but U don't understand the transitional error as no transition occurred at that time.
That's not a very clear photo. Probably a rolled thin planchet, .13g +/- is with in tolerance. Providing clear photos will get you a lot of help around here, just a heads up.
Welcome Tara, and as you can see, when we get unclear posts, we can sometimes be facetious but don't mean to be rude. When you post, try to be as clear as you can and re-read your post before posting it so it says what you want it to. Were you inquiring the value of the poster's coin? Or, just the cent in general? Lots to learn on this forum so strap in and hang on for the ride. Good luck. Out of curiosity, how long have you been collecting and what is your coin(s) of interest?
