    1979 penny weight 2.9 gram transitional error ?

    Can one of you veterans please help me,is this 1979 penny that weight 2.9 gram struck on wrong planchet ?

    Exactly need a photo. Also a transition error would usually happen after the change not before. Some coins can be struck on rolled thin planchets.
    Calibrate your scale, and attach some photos.

    Please post a photo of both sides but U don't understand the transitional error as no transition occurred at that time.

When you post, try to be as clear as you can and re-read your post before posting it so it says what you want it to. Were you inquiring the value of the poster's coin? Or, just the cent in general?
