2 banks last night, each had 1 loose half dollar...nothing.

The teller at the second bank asked, "What years were these silver?". I replied, "64 and older." I did not feel the need to fully inform him given he was a silver sniper wannabe

 

Did a mix of stuff today:
$90 nickels - skunk
$145 dimes - skunk
$300 quarters - A 2001P Kentucky CUD that isn't listed on cuds-on-coins.com
Still have $30 to search after the kids go to sleep.

I've seen a lot of those green marked coins lately...
I don't look for errors/varieties with halves though. Edge check and dump. Glad the marker came off for you.

My weekly 4 boxes of halves only gave me 2x40%ers and a gold plated bicentennial. Still have a box of cents to go through.

 

I only picked up 3 boxes of halves this week. One bank branch said they are no longer handling coin orders and I'll have to go their other branch to order a weekly box. And one branch had a late delivery yesterday, so will get that one on Monday. As such, I found half of what FF did, one 40%er. Silver has been very slooooooow around here.
Out of frustration, I did pick up a box of quarters so I have something to search today. BTW, our Coin Club president has been buying Unc rolls of 2019-W quarters. He told us at our meeting this past Tuesday that he has been able to find 4 of the 5 designs, but cannot find a roll of American Memorial Park. I know they made 2 million of each design, but are the AMPs getting sucked up by collectors more than the others?
My personal finds of W quarters are:
5 x Lowells
1 x each of the other 4 types

 

I've found more AMPs than any other design. I still have like an extra 35 or so after making all my sets.

 

Thanks FF, good to know. I guess his regular suppliers couldn't get them for some reason.

 

Yeah I've seen several people that have specifically been interested in the AMPs. Perhaps it was just how they were distributed. Not as evenly as the others.

Same here, I'm on a 6 box skunk streak with halves and have been wondering if the Xmas silver has run out. Tried 4 boxes of quarters looking for Ws (hoping for a River of no Return) and also got skunked. Found one unusual coin slightly smaller than a quarter, not sure if it's really legal tender somewhere.
