What is the ONE coin you once owned but you have let go (for what ever reason) and now regret it. I have several, but the one I miss the most is a VF NGC slabbed 1916 D Mercury dime. I have since replaced it with 3 more but none are VF or better. They are just no longer affordable.

I only have one regret and that is of not buying your VF NGC slabbed 1916 D Mercury dime....... jk but, in reality, I only regret what I didn't buy.

If I had your regrets, I would forget about mine.

Back in 1996 I sold 16 coins to buy my wife a brand new toyota prius which we owned less than a year. She hated it. Thats why I have such regrets

In the 1980’s I built a very high quality Franklin half set that included what we now call cameo proofs. This was truly a very high quality set. We didn’t have TPG guidelines to tell us that high quality Franklin’s were valued in the stratosphere like we do now. It was manageable to assemble back then..... The set was stolen from me. I found out later it was a young and troubled family member we allowed to stay in our home for a few months. I have since assembled another uncirculated set but not nearly as fine as that set was. I sure do miss those cameo Franklin’s.

My neighbor has been working on 2 high end Franklin sets for each of his 2 daughters for as long as I've known him (approx.15 yrs) for the same reason. His nephew helped himself to the collections several years prior

    Two coins bother me.....

My 63 1888 S OGH Morgan that I let go, b/c I needed the cash.

    And a 65 1937-D OGH Walker.....This one is a 66, now, and is beautifully original. :(

I have had to get rid of a few collections,
The cherry picked set of 38D Buff RPM's, all in 65 or better, probably hurts the most.
