1974 D might be struck through on top of Lincoln’s dome and I think maybe D but not sure on either as I have been wrong many times before
Pictures are not very clear, could be a die break. Can you post clearer pictures and full pictures of obverse and reverse. Thanks

There seems to be dirt in the edge of crack / line. I think it is most likely a lamination error. Your coin has a "D" mint mark. Clearer photo would be a great help.
iPhone 6s is not to great for photos I’m going try a little later with some better light hopefully it will help get better pictures. I totally agree with you it’s a 1974 D but what I’m seeing is what looks like a + mark through it but I could be wrong.
Try cleaning the lens on your phone, windex maybe alcohol. Clear full size photos will help clear the question up? I am on the fence but your camera is much better than you think. Stabilize the phone and coin, get decent light and tap the lens to auto focus then take the photo.
This is what I use with my iPhone 5s. Center the coin, tap the screen to focus, use a light touch to snap the picture
I do the same thing with a scope. Does pretty good. I have several quarters that i want to post in the Washington thread but don't have the scope to take photos. My phone takes sasquatch photos.
I am with Alurid on this one. Could possibly be a struck through wire or piece of foreign material. As far as PMD I am not seeing any displaced metal. Usually when I find stuff like this I label it. stuff it away for a rainy or boring day and come back to it. Good luck with it Chris.
I use a iPhone 6S. looking at your pictures it's your total technique, and not the phone. Try these few things next time: (1) Look at where your camera lens is, and put it DIRECTLY above the coin. Not to the side, not pointed at an angle, but DIRECTLY above. So the lens is pointing down to the middle of the coin. (2) Turn off the FLASH. Because the flash is also directly about the subject you get direct reflection back to the lens, which blow things out, etc (3) go to a well lite room. A very bright room. Then position yourself so that no Shadows are cast upon the subject (coin). Position yourself to the side, do not have the ceiling light directly above you, walk to the side/edge of a room so the light is coming from the side. Then position yourself and the camera so you do not create a shadow too. So the light is uninhibited to lighting the coin. Add more lights at a distance if needed. don't put a light right next to the coin. (4) Steady the phone. Motion blur is one of the major problems. So use as others have a can of soup or box to put the phone on. And learn to lightly push the button to take a picture, nothing to move the phone itself. (5) make sure your images are focused. Make sure it's not to close of which the camera cannot focus on. Start your images further away if needed and crop. You'll find your images will be much, much better. and we'll be able to see the difference too.
this one picture is good, but lighting, details are not good enough. but I can't tell. If it is struck through then that means any design element (hair) where the crevice is will not be there at all. If the design element is pushed into the crevice even around the edges pushed /curved down around the edges then it's PMD as in a piece of metal was on it and pushed down the design element. You can not get the design element if it's blocked.
I never really realized that so much quality can be lost through different aspects of your environment Thanks for info I will try it out
I am really trying to get better pictures but from eye looking at with a magnifier to me it looks like if you were painting and put a piece tape on wall then after painting wall you removed the tape
