Hello guys im back with another question i know its trashed but it looks like a wreath was kinda punched on heads side and i would like your input . Thank you
Just heavily damaged. Compare the arc of the circle to the arc of the edge of the wheat ear. (If by wreath you mean the wheat ear).
Yes its trashed and damaged You can imagine the arc to be whatever you want it to be including being minted during the Ottoman Empire crescent. Just remember it is damage.
Someone hammered the front on a hard surface which damaged the back. They also damaged the back. It is all damage. We cannot speculate why, how many times, what amount of force, exact tools etc that were used but the important part to know is someone damaged it because they wanted to.
im sorry to bother you but you really dont see the letters im uploading pics for you if not i do have paradolia but i dont see faces just letters or maybe i have been looking at to many pennys i have 158 lbs of them he put all his pennys in in big jugs starting in early 60s up to 2009 my eyes are stressed i havent even made a dent in them.
we can see the backwards imprinted letters. The question is how did they get there did they get from from the minting machine .. no .. not at all did they get there from someone squeezing another coin against it .. yes, probably. Why? you'd have to ask the person that did it. Since it happened *after* the coin was minted it is considered PMD - Post MInt Damage done some time after it was made. Thus it only has value to the pweson that made it for some reason.
Plural of Penny is pennies So far all you have shown us are pennies with post mint damage. No mint errors. Sorry - Mr. Ed Specializing in collecting mint errors since 1985
