Whats it worth

I found a penny with a number missing on the date is it worth anything.

Considering it looks to be a grease filled die, with is common, and it appears to have been very harshly cleaned, it is worth about one cent.

You can still see the '1' last digit based on the angle of view. As other's mentioned likely struck through grease and no added value beyond face value.

 

Put it on Ebay and see what it brings in.

Now I see what it is.. It's a plated copper Cent. Not a Mint error.
Only worth 1 Cent.

 

Cleaned and scratched. It's a grease filled Die and worth face value.
