lets see... 1 million cents equates to 20k rolls of cents. If you search 10 rolls a day it would take you about 5.5 years to getter done. OK, sure, I'll do it. Imagine what you might find. That was pretty cool, thanks for sharing. Allen
Hey Spock! Did you know I found a 1922 plain Lincoln? Two silver 3c pieces... 1853. Two Liberty 3c pieces...1857 and 1873. One Bingham Utah trade nickel. 1956D-1MM-001. 1956D-1MM-003. One 1920p out of collar broadstrike cent. Two fantastic 1909vdb. One 1943p cent broadstruck. Lots of IHC's, and two copper-nickel IHC's. 1953D-1MM-001. 1957D Coneca RPM#001. An ancient coin: Valerian I 253-260 AD. and that is just a few of the goodies. (Sorry, a little voice made me do it.) anonymously, jeankay
I am up to a box of cents a day now, but everyday would be too much like work and would soon be hated. Probably mostly newer coins though. Anyone seen it up close to see if they could locate even one wheatie? How are they keeping them from getting nasty?
http://images.google.com/imgres?img...+pennies&um=1&hl=en&client=safari&rls=en&sa=G If one million pennies isn't enough for you, how about 50 million of them, or even 100 million? See pictures 4 and 12 at the above link, in addition to all the other pictures which are pretty cool!
hfd12316-I don't do that everyday, just once or twice a week. OCD ya know. Girlfriend finally made me condense so I have about $100 worth of 1c to take back. Think I'll get a box of nickels. davidh-Wonder how much they would charge to go "swimming in #4 for 10 mins?
very nice. but i still like my bag better but i dont know enough about lincolns to get into RPM's guess i will have to learn before and go through them coins again. :hammer:
In another thread I figured I have searched about 200,000 cents this year, 40 bags. Counting the bags I just flip, I imagine I have been thru about 500,000 this year. Serious.
and i am already seeing stars in less than 5000 and imagine what would happen if i didnt find a nice coin in every 10-20 wow i have t give it to you
It's kind of sad, really. AJ could have gone to school, but didn't. AJ could have at least held down a minimum wage job, but couldn't. I can see AJ now - sitting on the curb with those torn paper sacks that he calls "bags", going through the few pennies he's found on the sidewalk today. He only has on one sock. His left eye is in a permanent squint from looking too much at weak strikes. Occasionally a passerby tosses him a quarter or dime. But he tosses it back angrily, muttering something about "where's my copper...." 500,000 or 50, we don't care AJ. We'll still let you post as much as you want.
Wow! I wonder if there are any 1909SVDBs, 1955DDOs or I'll even settle for a few 1914Ds .................:goof:
LOL I have a helper ( wife ) that seperates the 34 and newer into the bucket..., I do the rest of them.
I don't mind coin searching in small bites. Beyond that it become work, not pleasure. I'd rather just buy the coin I want than to search for something I don't even need.
WoW! Hell yeah. It says I can't carry it but that is what friends are for... Give me your big gold bar and I will not torture you with rap music! :mouth:
