DLRC accepted my offer. I expected a counteroffer, but nope- they accepted.

I am pleased. Haven't owned a Feuchtie in a long time, and I think the last two were holed pieces, on my once-famous Holey Coin Vest.

Happy New Year and Leap Year, friends!

Great start to 2020! I love the imagery of the eagle grabbing the snake. I only have a Prussian 3 Mark with a similar image.

When I was little & first got into collecting, I remember seeing these in the redbook & always wanted one. I never did get one, even when I got back into collecting in the early 2000s. I still find them pretty cool.

    Congrats.

I guess I missed that part of the Redbook, because I have never seen or heard of a Feuchtwanger lol. Obviously a bad ass coin. Awesome eagle and snake image, like furryfrog said.

Cool coin/token. Do you have attribution data for the coin? Some of the die pairings are rare.

Love these, and definitely intend to get myself one in the future, though it's not a priority right now. Anyone ever seen a Feutchtwanger 3 cent? :)

Seen? Yeah... in pictures. In person, or owned? Nope!

Great eagle on those. Feuchtwanger was decades ahead of the US Mint of the time, I say.
