Searched high and low and still nothing on this coin. Im guessing a commemorative as no date or denomination. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much -JK
Possibly, but you would figure I could find something about it. I have seen some that were kind of similar, but have not found this one... Appreciate your reply JK
Yeah could be a medal or token. Any denominated coin I have seen has at least a year and some sort of number that identifies monetary value.
Thank you for your reply. I'm just surprised I cant find ANYTHING on this exact piece. I purchased it with 10: 500 Lire coins. I'd love to find some info on this one...My fingers are bleeding from google searches JK
I love those bi-metal L.500 coins. Used to have a thousand of these, now it's tough to find bulk lots of pre-Euro anywhere from 1 seller.
On the obverse it says Umberto II King of Italy. He was the son of King Vittorio Emanuele III. The reverse is the crest of the Italian royal family. Must be a token/medal
That obverse was used on the prova for Umberto II in 1946 I would not consider it a medal until I showed it to an advanced Italian dealer like Matteo Cavedoni in Italy MCM Numastica
