Not being a big fan of US Mint to no fault of there's I just read recent mintage report for 2019. while lots were looking and puzzling over the 2019w 's me being 1 like a cat at the bird feeder! Mint drops a 2019s en/rev. on us blam! Curiosity killed my cat LOL. Never got a no s in the 70's proof sets guess my best was a wide rim SA in 79, so I'm venting wondering if the American Innovations is part II none of the previous reverse dollars sold out 70,000 mintage now Feb. release has 70,000 with 5 limit? Wondering if I should look around the calendar for the next sleeper ? Wow, cleared my conscience
I'm not really sure what your venting about.. I read your post about 3 times and I don't understand it.
My vent was all the hype about 2019w's lincoln's then the 2019 en/rev dropped 25 times value. Wondered if the limiting on AI reverse being release Feb. 11th now with a 5 limit when last two issue's didn't sell out?
I guess part two of that vent was would you knowledgeable collectors rather has a Canadian release with 10,000 or US with 90,000 ?
I don't quite understand your beef either, but in either case, I wouldn't waste too much time & money on the Innovation $'s, personally, I think they suck!
The "hype" is actually from the collectors and their ability to over blow some rarity designation over a normal coin release. I also couldn't understand the points you were getting to make in your venting.
On the first day of release its always been a limit of 5/household. All the 2019 RP's are still available, with no limits. I believe the RP introductory coin sold out in a day or two.
My vent is the way the 2019 rev. proof silver eagle coin was sold out so fast as to take advantage of a collector and favor a dealer or TPG. It should be a felony to possess more than one coin at any time when a single coin limit is offered at the mint!
OP..... Just a suggestion. I make the folks in my office do this before they send a document out.... Type up your post. Before you hit “Post Reply”, step away from your keyboard and engross your mind in something for a few minutes. Then come back to your typed up thought and read it as though you didn’t write it and see if your point is clear...... I believe you do have a legitimate beef, but it really is not at all clear to the readers and it’s not a fun way to be part of the CT brethren.
The U.S. Mint produces some relatively quality coins, in my opinion. They're always expanding and, while their goal is obviously financially related, at least it helps grow the coin community with the new sets and coins being released. Don't get me started with the U.S. Paper Money "sets" being printed, if you even want to call them that. I wish the U.S. would print paper money that actually got collectors excited about the stuff.
