Just bought two more super radars: $1 FRN 1977 F65555556C GEM $10 FRN 1985 F65555556A GEM I finally found a note other than a $1 or $20 :hail::hail::hail::hail::hail::hail: Cannot wait to get them! Just thought I would share the exciting (I know - I'm way too wrapped up in this number obsession) news! I am nearing 20 notes that are binary 65 and 7 of them are super radars and 3 super repeaters. As a side note: Had a special note show up in the mail recently - pulled from circulation by a forum member. Thank You Very-Very Much!!! May not be gem or binary but it is the thought that makes this more special! Really appreciate it - I owe you... Best Regards Darryl
Very cool, the notes you bought and the one pictured. The one above is about like my luck, always one digit of from being a radar or repeater. I found one last night that had one digit in the center keeping it from being a radar. :desk: ( added note: mabey a little whiteout will help that one.)
LOL!!! They are not very often found in circulation (at least binary). For about as long as they have been around ~ collectors have been snatching them up. I bet most leave banks going straight to a collector... Look at the date on the $1 that is coming - 1977 GEM. Leaving one collection (probably the original) going into another. Hope it lasts in my collection at least another 40 years ~ when I'm gone some collector may be the lucky recipient if my kids don't want them!
nice, be sure to post pictures when you get them The other day at work I saw a note that started with 565... an I thought "if only it kept going, that "Six-Five Guy" would like it" lol
