What's the 2nd kind of doubling here?

    Found a quarter with what looks like 2 different kinds of doubling one looks like die deterioration doubling but not sure about the second. Everyone let me know what you think?

    I thought that MD was flat shelf like. The doubling inside the letters (hard to tell from the picture) is rounded and on the B and S has what appears to be split sherifs (is that the right term).

    I checked it out and it didn't explain how to recognize incuse MD. Do you have any other suggestions of where I can look? I want you to know I appreciate the help.

    You might have missed it. Go back to that link and click on Mechanical Doubling at the bottom of the page. Scroll down to the next to the bottom paragraph of that page and it specifically address incused devices.
