cashed a check, got home, and noticed an odd bill. Ebay has them ranging from $99-$300. Not in bad condition at all, a little dirty but not worn. I assume there is some process of lifting minor dirt, but I'm not about to try it. I'm no collector, but could someone give me an aprox value?

Not a bad find from the St. Louis FRB, that is one of the less common districts, there were 434,000 printed in the 1934A series. This note is Friedberg 2153-H.

Although I do enjoy having it and would have liked to keep it, but I can't for various reasons. If someone gives me a reasonable offer, it's theirs.

That bill which has survived for more than 60 years, will be shipped off and destroyed if it gets into the wrong hands. The wrong hands being employee's of Wells Fargo for example and many other banks who save pre-1996 bills and then out they go to meet their end. If no one buys the bill on here, I recommend offering it to the dealers at your local coin stores. Spending it should be a very last resort.

I absolutely agree. I can't yet post in the classifieds, but does $120ish shipped sound over the top?
