That is a $6 coin IF it has not been scrubbed, I can't tell from your pic.

 

Sorry a severely cleaned common in that grade coin . I would leave it in my pocket for a year , it might wear and tone a little to at least look nicer , too bad a Civil war era coin .

Not worth $25......$25 should get you an XF 1863...with some searching....

Ever since I bought from him This guy has been trying to sell me his junk every time I post a want list (not on this forum though, another one)......How should I politley put it to him that I don't want him to contact me about anymore coins he has?

Two ways to handle - The first is to just ignore him or just say sorry not what I am looking for. This way you have the option just in case they have something you want some point in the future. Or two tell the truth - his coins do not interest you and to please refrain from replying in the future. Just be honest, polite and truthful.

I just cntacted the seller, he said it has not been cleaned and is a problem free coin...IDK though, so I passed on this coin

I think you made a wise choice. You can get a much nicer Copper-Nickel IHC for $25.
