So, in slowly researching hundreds of coins my father left, most of which I can identify, I came across this strange set. Definitely not coinage from a country. A plastic presentation case containing six coins of a cat sitting on a key, two stamped "ONE KEY" and four stamped "HALF A KEY". I assume in some far away planet, ONE KEY buys you twice as many french fries as HALF A KEY . Has anyone ever seen something like this ?
Actually, the story behind these looks like it may be rather interesting! http://usnumsoc.proboards.com/thread/33/cat-cay https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Cat_Cays
Thank you ! I can’t believe how quickly this was identified. I spent an hour researching it and came up empty. Great back story as well !
