I have a 1956-D that is different from my other coins, and I'd like to know why it looks like it does. It is as if someone dipped it in the blackest ink on both sides, making all the images in the stike, just beautiful! ( Of couse I put in in my 2x2 collection.) But, was it minted like that, or was someone playing around?
