So I know the STate quarters probably won't be worth much, but is the mint really cancelling it without completion? I started collecting them after my son was born hopefully so he'll get into collecting and also I thought it might be a good way to help him learn the states, so if this is true that's really disappointing.
What do you mean "cancelling it without completion"? When the next two quarters are released - Alaska and Hawaii - that will complete the 50 states. Next year the Mint will release six quarters for US Territories.
On the subject of State Quarters. My wife has been collecting them for sometime. I think she has all the D mintmarks, but we need lots & lots of P mintmarks. Any suggestions on how to get ahold of them?
See if you can trade some D-mint quarters for so P-minted quarters with some of our members here who live east of the Mississippi.
