    Hey guys :),
how would you grade this Indian Head? I bought it as a raw coin, what is not
    suspicious here in Germany.
I think it could be mint state. Are there problems that could possibly justify a Details grade?
I made a video as well.
    Greetings
    Alex

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Absolutely nothing on this coin suggests a details grade.

I think this is an UNC coin, and I think it would easily get 63. The luster is fantastic, although contact marks are evident.

Way to go with the proper handling of that coin Alex.......:) Pretty coin, but my feeling is a proper assessment (judgement) must be made by 'still' photogs.....just an old mans opinion. Got any? :)

Agree with Green... kinda tough to see detail with the movement

I see nothing that says a details grade, unless there is an obvious scratch/damage that isn't presented in the video. Still images tend to be better for this.;)

Nice photos Alex, to my unexperienced with gold eyes I would say AU. Too me it looks like there is more than just contact on the high points cheek, upper lip, and head band. It wouldn't surprise me to see it in a low MS grade though.

Anytime I even suspected a mint state grading on a coin, I would not touch it with my bare hands, but would always use gloves. but that’s just me. I don’t even think there’s any rule regarding that, just a personal opinion

I don't like cloves, because of they are textiles. I am afraid of hairlines. Instead of that I wash my hands with soap. On top of that gold is chemicaly too inert for any reactions caused by finger prints.

You can get some really nice cotton gloves online for next to nothing for cheap that’s what I use, but whatever works
