I was happy this past year when I added the following coin to my collection. It is not super rare but it is quite scarce. Last week I was able to add another. It was an unsold lot in the most recent Jesus Vico auction. There was one in the Heritage sale as part of the Morris Collection. I missed the one because my focus was on another Morris collection coin. Btw, the factor that makes it rare is the corn ear on the right side of Mars. My first example: Now here is the one I just picked up: Please post coins you have upgraded.
Nice upgrade. I have one of these with the corn ear and the head facing left...and oh boy could it use an upgrade! Vespasian Denarius (77-78 A.D.) Rome Mint IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG, laureate head left / COS VIII Mars standing left with spear and trophy, corn ear in ground to right. RSC 128; RIC 940 (3.14 grams / 18 mm)
