Hola from NC (PVC question)

Man, North Carolina is awesome....we went on a hike on the Grandfather Mountain

Anyways..back to coins...I bought some squished pennies and an album for them....I paid $4.50 for the album...do these contain PVC? is there any way I can tell?..it doesnt say on the album so IDk..

Well I asked the same question to Doug and he gave me an easy solution:
"If it smells like a new shower curtain - then it's PVC."
Hope this helps....

Me too.....But I forgot to ask Doug that part.

On a serious note PVCs carry their distinctive smell for long time due to high plasticizers content; which is the primary reason why they are considered harmful for long time storage.

 

go to walmart and sniff the new shower curtains. When a sales associate asks if you need help, tell them you're looking for the curtain with the least amount of PVC.
