I recently hunted a mint sealed bag of 2009 District of Columbia quarters for the famous DDR and found this instead. It shows strong doubling on the east profile and shoulder, but can’t find any info on this variety?

Any thoughts or knowledge on this DDR? I’m about to go back through the bag to try to (hopefully) find other examples.

Your image isn't the best, but I don't see any hub doubling. ~ Chris

Yeah I’m brand new to this and can’t afford a proper camera setup yet, so I’ve got a makeshift setup going.

I’m not yet familiar with how the newer press minting doubling errors fit into the classic hub doubling classes. As far as I know, they aren’t technically doubling but are still unique error varieties, is this correct?

The “doubling” in this coin is on both the upper half of the east shoulder and the entire eastern facial profile (it has 2 complete, distinct profiles).

Only 5 other quarters of the 100 coin bag have very minor spreads of the profile in the same spot. Nothing else nearly close to this.
