My 2020 CRH tallies and finds

I have CRH for many years now and never done a running tally for the rolls I've hunted. This year I am changing that. I will keep track on this thread of my rolls gone through and at least mention (and maybe do some photos later of) my finds.

Since I am still going through my finds of 2019 and need to do some culling of previously saved coins, my modus operandi for this year is to set aside in a container (unless is a very special coin, then it will be put in a 2x2 or something) my finds or ones that I am saving to decide later if one or more is worth my keeping.

Today I CRH my first rolls of 2020...

    10 Quarter Rolls
5 Nickel Rolls (4 of which were all new 2018 P).

Noteworthy, I found a 2012 S Chaco Culture National Historical Park Quarter
and a 2008 P Arizona 'Extra Cactus Leaf' Quarter
and a 2004 D Iowa quarter with blazing luster.

And as an aside, I went thru some change (not keeping count as to total $ searched): nothing worth keeping

and scored my first CoinStar find - a damaged 1973 Canadian dime.

Here's to a (hopefully) very profitable CRH year for me and wishing others on here some great finds, also!

I have put the three quarters I mentioned and two others that are really nice in flips in a notebook. Later I will put labels in with them. I will decide which 2018 P nickel(s) to keep after I finish the rolls I still have in the same group I got from the bank today. Thinking only one or two maybe.

34 more nickel rolls and four quarter rolls.....

In this group, another Arizona cactus leaf quarter, a super nice Indiana Quarter, a not so nice 1939 nickel, and a modern nickel that has a clash on the reverse. Saved a number of others to look more closely at, but most will likely not survive a cull.

A war nickel and a 52S are good finds!

After some convincing (which boiled down to a "reward offered" haha) I have my college student checking the quarters at the convenience store she works in part time near the Oklahoma panhandle. She has brought me a super nice 1999 D Delaware quarter, a 1999 S clad proof New Jersey state quarter (but it isn't in very good shape), and a 2019 W Lowell so far this year. Little does she know the coin bug is creeping up on her!! Good luck on your search!!

Sorry, was not thinking, just a couple 1952 P nickels, I put little s in to indicate more than one of most of these years. Not thinking. Wish it was a S mm one.

Completed a full box: 50 rolls of Nickels. About a dozen various dates 1939-1955. No war nickels, but did get a 1942 no mint mark. No foreign coins!!!!! A few BU ones more 1970-1990 era.

Also, went through about 5$ in change from the past month and kept three Jeffies and three lincoln cents. Probably will eventually toss them back, but first have to research if what might be is there. One of the nickels is a pretty BU one, 1992, I think. So maybe I'll end up keeping that.

In my visits to the store, no CoinStar rejects found recently.

Finding AU/BU 70's nickels is more difficult than I expected (relative to other decades I collected during CRH events). Completing rolls of AU/AU+ nickels is harder than for other decades.
