A co-worker showed me some coins she was thinking about selling. They were pretty worn so I said they were probably only worth the melt value This one was the best one she had, pretty nice I thought As you can see most are very worn so probably not really collectable?
I would think the 1908-O quarter would be sold for something above melt. It is attractive and should have some premium.
I looked it up and it's less than the Philadelphia quarters. Not what I expected. I expect you'd be lucky to get $5 if you're selling or pay for $5 if you're buying. Maybe a little more for the 1912 if it grades F or better.
