Is this an indent Coin? Is the line that appears to be a die break normal?

I have been think about this a bit. Do you think the reason for that amount of die transfer is due to this being a Zinc cent which is a more malleable/softer metal than the what looks to be a copper coin shown by furryfrog02.
The copper alloy use in cents has a property that is called strike hardening and zinc does not.
I think that both the OP's coin and furryfrog02's coin could possibly be struck through a planchet clip caused by a stiff collar. I say this due to the curled up outer edge of the coin showing that it was struck in at least a partial collar.
