You mean like use my own judgment? I know better than that by now. My imagination is way too vivid for such finite details. Once i see what serifs on a g look like, i see serifs on ALL the Gs (I'm referring to the 88 wide am). Anyway, here's a couple more shots cuz, I'm going to have to walk away or else I'll be seeing that double die from the example all day. Probably on more than one too lol. BUT i also found this crazy looking 2009. I'll create another post for that. Thanks for your help all!
Ok, so now that I'm looking at it again I think it's a match. Just different die stages. The part that gives me some confidence is the doubling edge that curves on the mint mark. The R has the doubling but just a shadow of it and the Other parts also exhibit the same mis-shapen letter, just minus the sharp lines that would give the doubling a clear definition. But sharp lines wear out quickly as the die deteriorates. So where can i find Die markers for this coin to verify my suspicion?
