I work at a bank and started coin collecting a few days ago. I've already got all of these wheaties!

This is all in less than a week. I went and got folders and books on collecting today. I'm excited about starting this.

I've also found a 1942 P jefferson nickel and some foreign coins. Then a few weeks ago at the gas station the person in front of me paid with a mercury dime and I asked the cashier if I could trade for another dime and she let me.

    This is FUN!

Thanks Daggar. I'm hoping that the thrill wears off just a little though because I'm obsessed right now. It's all I do all day and I dream about it too! LOL

    Hi KDKen,
Welcome to CT... this is a fun place.
You are off to a good start... hmmm... I have been at this about 1 1/2 years now and the obsession has not lessened. The more different kind of coins I see the more I want them for myself...
You can count on the coins to keep you going.

Hi KD and welcome to CoinTalk, it might be a good idea for you to invest in a few guide books so that you will have more of a idea as what to look out for in the future :D Glad that you are having fun with the hobby that is the way it should be :kewl:

Welcome KD. This is a hobby to Enjoy! As De Orc suggested, get some books and do some research so you can make informed purchases. A Red Book is a good book to start with. Working at a bank is an added bonus. Again, Welcome Aboard!.. John
