Here is one you definitely do not see everyday. It is a very early denarius for Titus as Augustus. According to RIC this coin may have been struck in the first week or so of his reign.

This reverse was struck for all of the Flavian emperors. While this reverse is common for Vespasian and Domitian and for Titus as Caesar it is rare for Titus as Augustus. In fact there are only 2 coin types for Titus as Augustus that feature the legend CERES AVGVST on the reverse. This denarius is one of them.

I want to sincerely thank the seller for this coin. He is fellow Cointalk member @PeteB . He is kind, reliable and easy to deal with. I recommend him very highly.

Here is the coin which features a nice portrait of Titus.

I knew Pete had that one in his shop, but I hadn't realised you needed or indeed wanted it!

It's a terrifyingly tough type to find! Again, if it wasn't for Harry Sneh, I would not have gotten one when I did.
