This is just really sad. First off, wasn't there a big deal a while back about the TPGs using the "first strike" nonsense...I thought they weren't going to do that anymore. Well, check this out. Here is a 2006 $50 American Buffalo NGC PF70 in the wrong holder. After doing some research (yeah, I was bored)...apparently NGC has a special American Buffalo First Strike label should have used. That's got to add like $100 to the value right...I mean, how many NGC PF70 Buffalo's are out there with this label? http://cgi.ebay.com/2006-50-GOLD-BU...hash=item280248011122&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318 Just sad. :headbang:
I know, I was just kidding. I just thought it was really sad. Seriously though, wasn't there some big deal several years ago about the "first strike" stuff that even led to lawsuits. I thought the TPGs weren't using that title anymore.
I think this was before the lawsuit and I thought only PCGS was using first strike and NGC changed to something else. Not really sure.
Maybe 2006 was the last year they used that. I just searched on ebay for NGC first trikes and 2006 was the latest year I could find. I just thought the lawsuit was longer ago than that, but I guess not. It's still stupid though.
