wheats

    hello all i have a quick question i have a number of wheats that i have accumulated over the years through roll searching and changing them out of the register at work i was wondering what would dealers pay for bulk? i'm trying to earn some more money for some semi-key and key date lincolns thanks in advance

    I don't know for sure, but I would imagine that the rate would probably equate to double face value or so. That's just a guess anyway.

    Hi Wheatman21,
    The local coin dealer said they are paying 1 1/2 cents per coin right now. I think he meant for copper coins only.

    Local shops here pay 3 cents each, and you can get 4 if you look around

    Three cents each or $1.50 per roll. They will pay less for corroded or culls.

    The local coin shop sells for 3.7 cents and buys back at 3 cents.

    So I typically buy 5000 and it cost me $35 dollars to go through them. But I normally find a few low money key dates to make it work my while.

    3 to 4 cents if you really shop it.

    Yes 3 to 4 cents if you find the right dealer. I have sold rolls of cent on Ebay and received 0.0495 cents per coin. I sold 18 rolls and received $44.55 after shipping.
