I have a couple of coins with worn off dates. Is there a way or something that I could use to make the dates show up.
There is a product called Nic-a-Date that will sometimes reveal a worn date. It's actually an acid that will eat away the softer metal around date area allowing the date to show through. It's use is not really recommended though as it will damage the coin ruining any numismatic value. Of course a coin worn that bad doesn't have much to begin with.
