It all depends on what you're selling, and more importantly, HOW you sell it.
Good pictures/scans, where it's listed, how long it's listed for, s/h, your reputation as a seller, starting price, etc. all factor into it.

If you're selling coins that people want you should have luck selling them on eBay.

    james:
Many times if the descriptions, heading, and pictures are poor, you will not attract any interest.

How about (since the sales are ended) post a link or the auction #, and we can check it out for you.

[this should be okay (?Mods?) since the auction has ended.]

As with selling anything, it's all about how it's presented.

Take a look at some of the powerseller auctions, see what draws your attention, and incorporate similar practices in your own auctions.

Sometimes this might take a little work, so be sure the potential profit is worth the time and energy.

    What two items?
    I see nothing.

    And one other suggestion.
    Check your spelling and grammar.
If it's anything like your posts here, you've got lots of problems.
And that will turn people off.

Spelling is important since people search for key words in titles.
If you spell it wrong, people won't find it.
The title is the single most important piece of information at the beginning.
If it is not informative, you've lost buyers even before you've started.

Give us the eBay numbers and we can look up your auctions in the "Closed Items" list.
Then we can make specific and helpful suggestions.

You first ID number is wrong. It shows sunglasses.

    I found the cent listing.
Actually you did reasonably well with the title. I think people could find it.
    Free shipping. That's a plus.
But here's the problems I see:

    1. Your image of the coin's obverse makes it look like it's hung on a necklace or something like that. People will think "damage" where the loop would be attached to the coin. If it's not jewelry, change that image.

    2. You state the coin is cleaned which will be a turnoff. But with your low starting price that alone won't kill most deals.

    3. Now the biggie. Your coin looks coated with something. I don't see any copper color anywhere.
If it is copper colored, you need to change ALL your images.
    If not, say so.

I've been buying and selling on eBay for about 10 years.
    Buying is generally easy.
But selling is tough. Because of this you have to be accurate with the title, images and description.
Keep trying. If it doesn't work, ask why? Plenty of help here and in the eBay Chatrooms and Discussion Boards.

Check your grading categories and standards for currency.
I don't do paper money, but I'm pretty sure a crease totally removes it from UNC, and I don't think there's such a thing as AU.

No, haven't looked, but the eBay bidders can't see them either.

The best advice that I would give is to search and find a current/prior listing for your item that is being bid on well (or if the auction has ended.. pick one that sold high and was active with many bids). Once you find a nice one, mimic that page. Sometimes you can learn the most from those who have already been successful.

As far as grammar is concerned, I have found that I dismiss auctions where the grammar is poor because it shows a lack of professionalism. Coin collectors are meticulous and often pay very close attention to detail. The big things I shy away from are misspellings, all caps, no caps, lack of punctuation etc.
