help identify this coin please..

    not a coin.
    Looks like a one sided token, that may have been glued onto a card.

    I agree with Treas and it even looks like it is made from some type of plastic material (bakelite maybe?).

    I cannot find any information on it. I'm not sure if there are any books that cover that type of token?

    It is a medallion of some kind, and I believe it is metal. I also believe it was originally two sided but has had the back side scraped off. If I had to make a guess I would say it probably dates from the 50's or early 60's and was probably a giveaway at a bank. Possibly the precursor to Third Century Bankcorp from Franklin IN.

    It's a token. It looks like there was lettering on the reverse that has been ground off. (Sorry but I cannot make out the words.)

    Yup..Its a token alright and the reverse side seems to be peeled out of something......maybe two 1 sided tokens were glued together...
