Scored a pretty great batch of crown size pieces in a recent lot that I thought I would share with the group. There's a bit of everything here! Enjoy.

Nice haul, I would hate to guess how much they cost!! I really like the 1887 Ethiopian 1 Birr.

They weren't cheap, that's for sure. I'll be selling off the bulk of them in order to finance the ones I like most. Keep your eye on the for sale forum in the coming weeks.

I also very much liked the 1887 Ethiopian 1 Birr. Can we see the other side of that coin ?

Here are a few close-ups of the coins folks have commented on specifically. I think the French Indo China piastres might be cleaned at some point.
How does one go about grading the Morocco pieces because the design elements are all so flat, it's tough to tell wear without defined high points.

I am willing to bet the couple of Chinese silver coins will pay for the entire lot if not more.

Great coins. I think the El Salvador might be my favorite.

Yes, the Moroccan coins are very difficult to grade. However, look for traces of wear in the fields, and discoloration on the high points (especially near the center). I'd call all three of those AU, although the 1352 might be EF.
