I'm all for learning about these things.

From a slightly different lighting angle I can see something on the feathers and near the first A in America. I wonder if a short rinse in acetone or xylene would make a difference - or if that is just the texture of the surface there? I could try zooming in more, but this animation is already at the full resolution of the original photo. Feel free to expand it to see.

I don't see anything near the bow, though. I do see the flow lines, so this is a well-used die that still has great detail, and a ton of luster.

Here’s a new addition. I put together slabbed proof sets for 1938 through 1942, but 1936 and 1937 make my wallet groan. So I decided to limit those years to a Buffalo proof. Here she is!:woot:

I’m good at conservation and think the residue shouldn’t be hard to remove. An interesting batch of coins. The 1820/19 curl base 2 looks like it could be a real winner if it hasn’t been scrubbed

Some real potential there, and if you can restore their condition a bit, could be a real score! The only one doesn't look authentic to my inexperienced eye is the holed 1896 Barber half. Not much of a loss even if so.
Ooo, I like the Bogota 50c! I lived there 2 years. Very cool.

Barber half is real as can be and a shame as it’s high xf and nice and crusty. It would have been about a $250-300 coin with no hole. The bogota coin was just part of the lot and not anything I even paid attention to. To me the 20/19 is strong au if not harshly cleaned. The 26 has some nice toning and au as well. The reeded edge half looks decent and original the 60 quarter the trime the 53 dime the bust dime and the bust quarter all look like they have potential and the rest all ok but not great c

Actually, my alleged photo skills don’t do it justice.

The TrueView looks pretty spectacular on that one, heck of a coin.

I may have to list this one separately on my insurance. If so, would it be a "CC Rider?"

I picked this up this afternoon. It's my first 1793. I don't collect counterstamps, but this is my second. I was interested in the S-5 at the same price as the S-99. $350 each. I actually offered a lower price, but got scared that 18 people watching might cause me to lose it for an extra $55. It happened to me Friday, so I bit the bullet.

Today I found my 5th W quarter, all the same, War in the Pacific. Can't seem to find anything else, though I never thought I would find any, so I'm thrilled with 5.

    I found 2 silver quarters, a 1962 and a 2007 Washington State proof

And in bank rolls a 1963 dime and an old worn Buffalo nickel ( the date is worn off)
