Can you believe this, Yesterday I went to UPS to mail a package. The package cost $16.30. I gave the girl a twenty & she gave me back three ones and change which I put in my wallet. On my way home I stopped at Rite Aid to buy something. I took a one out of my wallet, and noticed it was a brand new 1935E $1. note. I wonder how many more ups had in it's cash register. I didn't go back because I figured that buy the time I got ther they would have all been gone. It was 9 miles back.
i dont even find an 80'5 bill in my wallet so great luck i wonder when my turn will come perhaps i belong to the category they also serve who just stand and wait
That guy at the candy store shouldn't have accepted that bill without informing the kid what it was. :whistle: Seriously though, nice find.
That's pretty lucky. Perhaps someone bought it and desperately needed to spend it; putting it into circulation. I can't imagine any other way a silver certificate that old would last this long crisp. I know I've done that with a Barr note.
