wrong color note

    I just got this 2004 twenty dolllar bill with the wrong color it has some pink on it anyone know if this an error bill its top picture if so whats it and value called your replys will be appriciated

    I don't think that's an error. I think the extra color was removed when the switch was made from Series 2004 to 2004A. Keep in mind that I'm not an expert on small size modern notes.

    If the bill was still in CU condition, it might be worth $25-30, as is, it's a spender, IMO.

    Ill if i can find an 2004 and see if its has that pink color in it

    your first bill posted looks like it was stained with some kind of red ink or pigment. if you look on the top there is red marker. that just bled as the bill had gotten wet. we get bills like that at work everyday. its just been through the wash or sweat on. value is just face

    i agree with urban here. i dont know what caused it, but it does look like some post BEp damage really, meaning no error :) the colors added to the notes were alot mroe subtle then the top note posted here. Maybe the original owner went swimming in a pair of red shorts... ?! :)
