I am completely lost as far as Morgans go could someone tell me what this small set is worth?

Warning Do not click if you are on dial up as you will have time to cook dinner while the images load.
My Photography skills suck big time but the images should be sufficient for any Morgan aficionados to give me a basic idea. I suspect they are not much over melt.

Thank you for your time and efforts.

  3. NOHOPE, most of your set our common Morgan dates and I would say the average grade of these coins would be between VF35 – EF45. The best coin out of the 22 is the 1881 S in which I would grade MS62. I graded 5 coins in the G category, 2 coins in the F category, 6 coins in the VF category, 2 coins in the EF category, 5 coins in the AU category and 2 coins in the MS category. Based on this information and assuming you could get RED BOOK - pricing I would value your Morgan’s at $549.

Thanks BeauCoinCollect I seriously doubt I would get full redbook value for them I was guessing at around $350 so my estimate was a little low..

What i up with the MM on the 4th coin? it looks like there is a box overpunch on it. It's the 1878 one, looks funny to me.

    I suspect you are right.

clembo A closed mind is no mind

Multiply the number of coins by 12 and maybe up to 14. That's what you'll most likely get for them.
