I grade Saints pretty liberally when it comes to flatness on the chest and knees, but when the eagles's chest is rubby - AU. A few too many marks for 58, so I agree with 55. I don't think a gold CAC would be given, but certainly a green sticker. I wouldn't take it out off the OGH. Being a better date I don't think it has a shot at a 61 or 62.

Not sure I voted on this before, and I didn't want to scan the posts to pollute my vote.

    I have this at AU53.

    Greg Bayes Where's the loo?

I am going with 61 mostly because of the obverse high point flatness.

I'm thinking hard about how (or even whether) I'd change XenForo to make it more clear to people that they're posting on a thread where they haven't read all the comments...

Given the inscrutably generous dispensation afforded gold coins by TPGs and my own grading orneriness, I couldn't it give more than an MS 61.

Curious...what makes you say "inscrutably generious" with regards to TPG grading ? I presume you are referring to market vs. technical grading ?

Also, why focus on gold coins relative to others ?

A very good and fair question. Yes, it is exactly in this AU/BU cusp that I see TPG technical grading standards succumb to the subjective vagueries of "eye appeal", market forces, and other nebulous factors that I have yet to witness any TPG service articulate definitively and consistently. Perhaps, emergent AI will give our hobby/passion a quantifiable precision that TPGs have so far been unable/unwilling to provide. Film (and possible obsolescence) at 11.

That ship apparently already sailed a number of years ago. And sank.

If you truly believe that, the Uighers have some Moon acreage they'd like to sell you.

It's a 13-S so I'm going to give it the "rarity pass" on mint state.
