Hey guys - I was wondering if you could help me ID this Roman Provincial coin. It appears to say "ANTON" on the front, and Idk about the back. Any help would be appreciated:
Possibly Caracalla, but certainly “Eros resting on torch” on the reverse. Good research! http://eroscoin.blogspot.com/2011/03/introduction.html
I have one similar to that, from Hadrianopolis. They were also minted in Nicopolis ad Istrum, Traianopolis, and a few other cities, I believe. Caracalla, AD 198-217.
