Just great! I'll have to sit between Doug and an emu in the courtroom.

Update: Doug Davis of NCIC responded last night asking for the information in my situation. Apparently, a number of other unnamed sellers have been duped by this individual.

I sent my information, along with an offer to help nail this guy by sending a restricted delivery mailpiece to draw this parasite out.

Unfortunately, I've received no interest in my offer to draw the offender out with a requirement to sign for an envelope in which he'd believe the merchandise to be delivered. Evidently, it is considered enough to build a database of victims, without strengthening the case against him by catching him with his hand in the cookie jar.

Depending on the jurisdiction's laws that might be considered entrapment and you might be considered an accessory...

Not so. Entrapment is when law enforcement facilitates the commission of a crime for the purposes of prosecution.

In this case, the crime's already been committed. I'm merely alerting the authorities to an opportunity to strengthen their evidence.
