i was flipping thru my tv guide and noticed on the travel channel at 5 pm today, the secrets of the u.s. mint show will be aired. i saw it once before and it is quite interesting. just thought i'd share this info with anyone that might be interested. i'm in western pa. so i don't know where else this show will air. check your listings..............AND ENJOY!!!
Interesting choice for the Travel Channel... next, we'll be seeing cooking shows on the Weather Channel.
is that central time or eastern time? anybody got a tv tuner that could record it and up it up online?
update on the mint show......... ................i goofed up.................the show is on tomorrow at 5 pm........... ..........sorry!
Whoops, my bad. I checked what my wife recorded and she recorded a show called "How do they do it?" that was on the other night on the Discovery channel. I haven't watched it, but they talk about how they design and mint a coin. Looks neat. But I just programmed the DVR to record the "Secrets of the Mint" for tomorrow at 5. Thanks for the heads up grizz!
secrets.......................... HE SURE IS!!!! incidentally, the mint show was on the schedule for eastern time today.......for those who must adjust.
Thanks for the heads up. I looked at the guide on my cable system and it is on at 5 pm EST. They also list a show at 4 pm that is about the Gold in Fort Knox. They both sound interesting.... John
Looks like this is a re-run of a show done back in 2001. Looks like the ANA helped out too. http://www.money.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=Home&TEMPLATE=/CM/ContentDisplay.cfm&CONTENTID=1409 -DJ
It wasn't a re-run to me. I've never seen the coin making process, it was very interesting. Thanks for letting us know.
Finally got to see more than just still pics. Thanks 4 letting us know. Caught the end of Fort Knox and all of the paper money show as well. I am now more smarter. I am so smart ... S-M-R-T, no wait S-M-R-A-T, no. Oh well.
secrets........................................... ....... http://store.aetv.com/html/product/index.jhtml?id=76192
secrets........................ i do believe it is. they change the title on the travel channel if it is originally aired some place else, in this case the history channel was first. i guess it is meant as a "draw" making the viewer think that it wasn't aired on the competition before. jmho
