Bank Of Upper Canada Penny, 1857

 

I am not sure if I already posted this one to the thread or not, but here she is.

 

When I looked at the first pic the pebbly surface of the background so matched the material you photographed the coin on that I thought there was a cut out making me wonder how the lettering stayed in place.

 

I never noticed that your right, the back ground is actually a dark, circulated tone.

 

I really like the 1805 Irish Penny. One year issue.
